For some reason, my Tumblr friends randomberlinchick and thehuskybro are reminiscing about Rita Moreno. So, I went on YouTube and found this great interview. It hit me that Ms. Moreno is an unsung hero of my 90s television viewing habits. I always appreciated her separately for her work on The Golden Girls, Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?, The Nanny and even the fleeting blip that was The Cosby Mysteries — but it wasn’t until watching this interview that I all at once realized, goddamn this chick is kinda awesome.
